WA State General Election notice
The Western Australian State Electoral Commission confirms that their State General Election will take place on Saturday 26 February 2005.
Early Vote Applications
Electors can download the application form for an early vote from the Western Australian Electoral Commission’s website:
www.waec.wa.gov.au
One form for each person on the Western Australian Electoral Roll should be completed using their overseas address.
Electors should forward this form to the Electoral Commission in Perth via either of the following methods:

Early vote application forms must be completed and returned to the Western Australian Electoral Commission before 6.00pm on Thursday 24 February 2005.
Ballot Papers
Once an early vote application form is received by the Western Australian Electoral Commission, ballot papers will then be posted by the Commission to the Elector for completion.
Completed ballot papers must then be mailed, postmarked prior to 6.00pm on election day and received by the Western Australian Electoral Commission before 9.00am on Tuesday 1 March 2005.

Please note that voting services for this election are not available at the Australian Consulate-General in Guangzhou.
