South Australia (SA)
State Election
The South Australian State Election has now been called and will take place on Saturday 18 March 2006.
Please note that voting services for this election are not available at the Australian Consulate-General in Guangzhou. For information on voting offices in the region, please refer the the South Australian State Electoral Office’s website (below).
Postal Vote Applications
If an elector is not able to attend a voting office, they can download the “Application for a Postal Vote” form from the South Australian State Electoral Office’s website:

Completed applications must be forwarded to and received by the South Australian State Electoral Office well in advance of the close-off time of 5.00pm (South Australian time) on Thursday 16 March 2006.
Ballot papers will then be posted to the elector and must be completed prior to 6.00pm (South Australian time) on Saturday 18 March 2006.
